Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
"Buffalo"
A herd of bison thunders over a over a hill kicking up sprays of dirt and snow. As they charge towards you, the steam from their breath merges with the layer of mist that blankets the wintry ground. Behind them, great snow covered mountains loom above an evergreen forest, their peaks jutting into the air where huge clouds roll across the sky.
The bison, or American buffalo, has always been one of my most favorite subjects for Western art. Most of my recent buffalo themed works have tended towards more photo-realism, but for this I wanted to return to a more the look of a painting. I was in the mood from something that has more expression and less detail to emphasize the sense of action and the intensity of wilderness of the American West.
As for the title, I realized that, though I have quite a few buffalo themed works, I didn't have one with the simple title of "Buffalo". So I went with that.
