Artist's Description
This is a altered photograph of my dog, Buster, the psyco Shitzu. Buster is a rescue who was badly abused, and he has his major issues. Perpetually concerned, always questioning, this photograph captures that essence. Of course, Buster is NOT blue and purple, etc., but this seemed to convey the feeling.
About Wayne Potrafka
I have been a producing artist for over 30 years, starting out as a potter/sculptor back in my native Michigan. I now paint, work with mixed media, and a bit of photography. . .and now and then, a little clay! I have become known primarily for my work in a dimensional, recycled mixed media w/acrylic, and all of my originals are also available as prints and as cards. Joining Fine Arts America has led me to pull out some of my old images, and to find a renewed interest and pleasure in the techniques and styles that I have passed through over the past few years.
