Sounds like a complete riot. Where I live, we have a restaurant right in my neighborhood that has been there since I was very little. When you walk inside, you swear that you are inside of Pee Wee Hermans house. Crazy ass toys of a bygone era are everywhere you look. Not just sitting there either... these things are all DOING something. Each table is like a glass topped showcase with a different theme. One may have a battle of antique toy soldiers on an intricate battlefield, while the next table could be a collection of ancient toy cars driving on city streets. It is cool as hell... until you try to eat the food... which is abysmal and expensive. All that to say, your story reminds me strongly of that place. The image that you shared is quite wonderful too. I want to pack up and go there just for the experience.

Ahhh yeah my man, maybe the chow sucks a little John but it would worth visiting this beautiful eatery. I love the way you have the structure inundated in water. This certainly is a classy work of art..it deserves the gold....L/V...rock on bro

Artist's Description

I had the pleasure of eating at Casa Bonita when I went to visit my girlfriend before she moved to Seattle a while back. She started explaining this place and that she "couldn't wait" to take me there. It suddenly realized I had seen all about this place in an episode of South Park! And let me tell you....that episode it pretty accurate. This place rocks, simply put. The food is sub-par, but the experience and weirdness of it all is magical. I used a picture of the front of the building I took that day as my reference....and tried to make it seem as wild and oddly meshed together-everything-happens-all-at-once type scenery around the building....the fact that this restaurant has HIGH DIVERS in costumes diving into a cave-like pool of water within the restaurant made me wanna make the ground in my piece be all water. The shooting stars on paths to eventually meet, and the 2 fireworks going off signifies me and my GF and our relationship and how much fun we had that evening. Used mainly...
