Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Les Quatre Chateaux, or the Four Castles ..refers to the site of horrific persecution against the Cathars.. a peaceful people, who were wiped out by the first Crusaders in the 11th century. The struggle involved their desertion from the Church & it's teachings, which the Cathars viewed as corrupt & empty of spiritual value. The Cathars believed in a modest life, rejecting the concept of hellfire, treating one another as family and refusing a materialistic life style. They lived communally, simply, and clung to the Bible as their guide..
An alliance between the King of France and the Church (1200 A.D.) was designed to usurp the Spanish authority from the south ..and rid the land of the "heresy"..thereby uniting Church & State in a destructive & unholy power pact.
There are over a dozen Cathar Castles, that remain of the courageous people, who were tortured and burned to their finish, during the Crusades & Inquisitions ..here in the Languedoc. In the village of Bé...

.. looks exactly like my families heritage castle (CARRIGAFOYLE, COUNTY KERRY IRELAND) the BRITS while invading Ireland and slaughtering the Catholics in the 11th century also destroyed the castle. So sad -- best to you DONA.

How delighted this morning to discover an honored FEATURE on the OLD AND USED Art Group front page... ...This ancient "chateau" is a 15 minute drive from our home here in the Cathar region of the south.. Wikipedia has much info about their history.. In other parts of Europe, much of the evidence of 'man's inhumanity to man' has been removed.
