Cave with Cliffs was created from memory of the drives I took with my family as a child to the redwoods every summer. You are looking out of a cave at cliffs with pine trees at sunset. I used four colors, starting with the blue acrylic background, than the deep red for the interior of the caves. Next, I placed in highlights with white and yellow ochor. I was born in Alaska but moved to the Central coast of Cali at a very early age, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and wildlife. As a child I drew on everything and for everyone. For instance, I drew horses and flowers on napkins for waitresses at restaurants. During high school, at 16 years old I attended our community college to study art. The teachers were very inspiring and helpful even though I was young. I participated in many art and music festivals, galleries and art groups.
