Thank you, Irene!!!!! We're expecting the blooms again here before too much longer ... !!!

Such a fantastic composition! I just love this!!

Lois Bryan replied:

Hi sweetie!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Lois, exceptionally well themed for this festival. I love your approach, descriptions, artistic approach. I have heard about this festival but have never been there at the right time. Beautiful work!

Lois Bryan replied:

Daniel ... a very late but very heartfelt thank you!!!! So glad you enjoyed this one ... I have to admit to having been several yards away from this particular vantage point when I happened to notice one, then two, then three people walk up to this place in the overhanging trees, whip out their point and shoots, click, and wander away. My curiosity got the better of me and I had to go take a look, too, and voila ... this is what they were shooting!!!! HAHHA!! Meaning, I can't take credit for the pov and composition on this one!!!!! But so glad you enjoyed it!!!

Lois,This is one amazing Photohraph.onderful border with a focal point. Perfect. Very sick still,Thanks for sopport!,,,Hugs,Marsha

Lois Bryan replied:

You do such great work Lois!

Lois Bryan replied:

Al, thank you!!!!!!!

What a gorgeous framing of the Washington Monument, Lois! Love the color and texture as well!

Lois Bryan replied:

thanks so much, Ann ... I have to admit, I was off to the side working on another angle when I saw first one person then another step up to this break in the blossoms ... so I hustled right on over there .. and .. voila!!!! LOL!!!! Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart, as my dear husband tells me!!!

Very very nice Lois, don't think ours are out yet. Love the way you framed the monument and subtle texture use.

Lois Bryan replied:

Chris, thank you ... I'm always honored when you visit .. and when You give me the thumbs up, I am a happy camper!!!!!! Believe me, the texture really brightened and warmed this one up!!! Glad you approve!!!

Nice work , I live in this area and have yet gone to see the Cherry Blossoms.

Lois Bryan replied:

Heidi ... don't feel bad ... I've lived here all my life and until last year, hadn't been down either. It is a bit of a zoo, crowds wise, but we got there very early this year and once the sun came out, had about a 30 minute window of sun and no crowds, lol!!!!! You have to be a bit aggressive once the folks come swarming in (which I had to do last year) ... but I DID say "excuse me" ... a lot, lol!!!!

Like an oriental silk screen...simply beautiful!!

Lois Bryan replied:

thank you so very much ... what a beautiful comment!!!!!!! I'll treasure it!!!!

Love it Lois

Lois Bryan replied:

Hey Cris!!!!! Thank you ... I love that you love it!!!

Wow! Beautifully done.

Lois Bryan replied:

HI Hi Lenore!!!! Thank you!!!

Lois, very stunning work...wonderful shot of these beautiful ephemeral blossoms...

Lois Bryan replied:

Many thanks, David!!!!! I thought I was sunk until the sun came out!!!!
