Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Chief Curly Bear was a respected leader among his people the Blackfoot. Prairie natives endured extreme hardship in the late 1800s, because of the disappearance of the buffalo and the encroachments of white settlers. The evidence of that hardship is etched in the countenance of this elderly gentleman.

Welcome, thanks for visiting the site! You have probably noticed that the images here are all rendered in pencil. Let me explain; even as a young boy I was fascinated by pencil drawing. I admired my dad and others who possessed some talent at it. I practiced a lot because I wanted to be a pencil artist, too. Some years later, I studied art in earnest; won a couple of scholarships, took courses at the Ontario College of Art and the Artist's Workshop in Toronto. Eventually, I became a freelance illustrator. Of course I used various mediums, but pencil work was always the foundation of everything.
