Young man hanging around in a graffiti filled alley. This series of paintings evolved from the loss of my sight in my right eye. Three days later, I was sewed back together, but the vision was distorted in that eye. It is pretty much like looking into a fun house mirror that distorts the shape. Hence people at any distance, with just that eye, have little tiny featureless heads and feet, and a big body. The first painting was an attempt to show my wife what I could see. They took on a life of their own, and became very good sellers! The left eye still sees straight, so I get to choose how I view the world! Such a deal. The original of this piece is still in my possession, and it is time for him to move on...so if interested, contact me directly for details.
