Chipper,
I really think that chipmunks are fantastic little animals. I'm not sure why, maybe because of how cute they are.
Years ago I worked at a place that was right near a national forest, lots of animals. Every morning a chipmunk would come out and run across the cashier stand. After a short while we named the chipmunk chipper. This actually went on for most of the spring. Then one morning, nothing. the next, nothing. Chipper had disappeared.
It wasn't until near the end of summer that chipper brought her family down to the cashier stand.
I like the background in this image. I chose a wide aperture for this image to blur the background that happened to be a large redwood. I just thought that the contrast between big and small was fitting for this.
