Artist's Description
I captured this image over 20 years ago with a Nikon FM 35 mm camera at a car show in Hermitage PA. It's always one of the most popular images at my art shows and exhibits. Art collectors particularly find appealing the reflection of the artist (i.e. me!) in the chrome bumper at the bottom of the image. See if you can identify how many times my reflection appears in the chrome.
About Jonathan Michael Bowman
Pictures have intrigued Jonathan Michael Bowman ever since he was a child growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Drawing pictures provided him with an escape from his childhood life of poverty. By the time he was 17, Jonathan and his family had lived in two homeless shelters, a church, and roach-infested public housing projects. Using his affinity for images, Jonathan “pictured” a life of success and set out to achieve it. After obtaining his GED, he attended the local community college where – with one look through a camera’s viewfinder – he became hooked on photography.
