Luv this painting Judith.

thank you for you look my paintings. i am a new artist. I just begin painting oil paintings less one year. I love art, I like paint. my want to be good artist

I love is one too. beatiful!

Judith, I had a great time poking around in your gallery, your work is wonderful, I love this piece of art!!

This is fabulous! Love all the colours of the building...like a patchwork quilt! Thanks for your nice comments on my painting! Patty

this is a beauty Judith, love the way you worked it up - has lots of character!

Thankyou Judith for your very nice comments, still loving this painting by the way!!

You have alot of strength in this painting for a 14x18! =Very expressive ,Great color!

I like the texture of this picture. The city is compelling. I am sitting here with two of my middle school students. They really like the color and think it must have taken a long time.

Judith, After reading your kind words I was curious to see your work. I was immediately impressed with your many styles of artwork and creative ability. My favorite picture that you did is "City By The River". Good-Luck with your art!

I see you curriculum very good but it looks like universities just make a carrer for their own does any body really teach the studends how to make it for their own or just their and up teaching as employees or just a govermental trick again. nothing looks to be working most artist end up working in a different job what a misery

How delightful your work is! You can tell you're enjoying your retirement, and you're bringing others along with you in that joy. Thank you.

Judith, it is amazing to create right on the canvas! I appreciate your comments on my recent painting too! You did a fabulous re-enactment of a city, it is like a trip in one's mind entering a huge city with all of it's nooks and crannies plus the atmosphere with the neutral colors. I am doing a scene right now from a Parisienne photo from 70 years ago, it is black and white, but I must imagine the colors and value gradations. It is hard, I must commend you on your work!

Hi Judith, I admire your work, as well. This painting is exquisite! Glynis Berger

This is a truly inspired painting....from an accidental splash...to what we see now....it is wonderful. You have a very creative mind.

Artist's Description

This cityscape evolved from left over paint spashed on a canvas. When the canvas was filled with paint, I coaxed this scene from it. I like what happened!

About Judith Espinoza

Judith Espinoza

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from James Madison University. Early in my working career, I taught art in several high schools. Later, I studied for and received a Certificate of Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University. I worked in the computer field as a systems analyst and computer programmer for 21 years. During these years I kept an oil painting in the making on my easel most of the time, but had little time to actually paint. Recently I retired from the computer field and am now able to enjoy oil painting as I wish. My favorite subject matter is landscape done in a variety of styles: realistic, impressionistic, abstract. I have done a series of oil paintings of a local landmark, Mole Hill,...
