I'm still not a 100% of the exact location. There are still buildings in this area, some quite old, but I haven't found matches for these. I assume many were rebuilt over the old. I was able to find something about each business, but nothing much about where they were actually located, or the colors they might have used

Figuring out the year for this is tough, the buildings look like they were from the 1880s, and they were. The transportation, there are no cars, there is no electric, so I would say 1890. But there were other pictures of this area that were marked 1908, its all really a guess though.

I chose a sunset because it lacked drama on the left. There are no shadows, but in real life there are no shadows, the sun seems to travel behind those buildings, and the angle seems to be extreme each t...
