Paul Fell replied:

Hello Mark This DC-3 was built in Long Beach, CA, by Douglas Aircraft Company for delivery to CNAC (China National Aviation Corporation) in August of 1944. Rebuilt by the Historic Flight Foundation in Everett and the inaugural flight after the rebuild was on 3/2/2013, the day the photo was taken.

My work has allowed me to travel to many countries and to experience a multitude of cultures. In late 2011 the shutterbug bit me and I have now developed a passion for travel, wildlife, nature and landscape photography.
