Joy, after a day on the trail with the sled dogs of Snowy Owl, a company based out of Canmore, Alberta. A beautiful day - sunny, temps just below freezing and a puppy to greet the mushers upon their return. A girl reacting to the cold "nosing" of the puppy, which was greeting the returnees (April 2011).

Mark A. Lehar was born in the Dayton, Ohio area and took an interest in photography at an early age. A couple of trips to the Canadian Rockies during his college years proved to be expensive in film development costs, but opened his eye toward natural settings.
