A perfect card that is accurate to the artwork.

This art did not translate well in this printed card. The foreground detail does not show well, unfortunately. I do love the art itself.

I'm not sure this artwork can be accurately replicated in this format. I may try ordering it as a print to see if that will work better.

The image is a little dark but it is a card I will give at Christmas.
Diwali is one of the most important festivals as part of the Hindu religion. As part of the festival, it has become custom to light lamps (over the ages, this has been oil lamps and now lamps / electrical lighting fixtures) around and outside the home or office establishment. As part of the mythology surrounding the festival, it celebrates the return of Lord Rama from his 14 year exile, after defeating the demon king Ravan. Diwali also marks the end of the harvest season and also invoking the blessings of the Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth) and inviting her into the home, symbolizing the prayers for inviting more wealth into the house.
This photo shows a fire cracker during the Diwali celebrations. These are the ones that are lit on the ground and go high in the sky, and burst with a whole plethora of colors in the night sky. Looks nice, but difficult to cover in a sharp way.
Ashish Agarwal works for a software company and has a passion for photography (and keeps on getting amazed at some of the quality of photos that he sees from other people). He lives in India, and likes to travel as and when he can get leave. Fortunately, he has access to a number of different cameras, so the photos in this collection are from a range of different cameras.
