Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Primary lysosome. Coloured Transmission Electron Micrograph (TEM) of a primary lysosome seen in a liver cell. The lysosome (red) is a membrane bound structure that contains digestive enzymes. Around the lysosome are various organelles, with the nucleus at left (yellow/green). Lysosomes are particularly prevalent in cells of the kidneys and liver. A primary lysosome contains inactive enzymes. These are activated when the membrane of the lysosome is damaged or when a substance that is to be digested enters the lysosome itself. Lysosomes can digest food brought into the cell and destroy invading organisms or cellular debris. Magnification x18,000 at 6x7cm size.
