Description

Condor Baracchi metal print by Mark Howard Jones.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back (see below). The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Artist's Description

This Condor Baracchi is my current ride, its really comfortable, lightweight and fast, built by a renowned UK frame builder who has be producing bikes for over 60 years. Named after The Trofeo Baracchi a major Italian cycling race that ran for 50 years. It was created by Mino Baracchi, in memory of his father Angelo who was a great cycle racing fan. Originally (from 1941) an amateur individual time trial, from 1944 it was open to professionals and became a major event on the European calendar until 1990.

About Mark Howard Jones

Mark Howard Jones

Born in Chester 1960, studied BA Fine Art (Sculpture) at Loughborough College of Art and Design and an MA in Art & Design (Painting) at Leeds Metropolitan University. First worked as a mechanic for London Bicycle Company and then as a ceramic technician for David Hilton Tableware in London for seven years, before becoming a 3D Design and Sculpture lecturer Oldham College, Greater Manchester. Moved to Hampshire to become Head of Art and Design at Itchen Sixth Form College, Southampton and now Head of Art and Design at Peter Symonds College, Winchester. Mark Howard Jones artwork celebrates his passion for cycling and reflects a desire to capture the essence of the machine and illustrate the timeless joy of riding a bicycle. Available as...
