Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. "Cows at the Barn"
by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan
... Sunset colors add a glow
to the western sky just before dusk.
The cows are ready to eat
and mingling in the pasture
in front of the barn.
This is one of the vintage old barns
in North Carolina, surrounded
by the Smoky Mountains,
near the borders of Georgia
and Tennessee.
The hillsides are dotted
with small family farms
in this poorer area
of the Appalachian Mountains.
Captured in the Spring
on a rainy day,
the grass is wet
and the aged wood of the barn
is darkened from the recent shower.
The clouds in the sky
are a pretty peach and gold
and there is a light mist
over the forest on the edge
of the meadow.
A creek runs along the bottom border
of the field,
full of fresh mountain water
to sustain the family and the cows...
