Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description

Daily life for enslaved Africans in the Caribbean included curing tobacco, making rope (on right), and preparing cassava or manioc roots (left and center). Manioc roots were grated, cooked, pressed, dried, and sifted into flour called tapioca. The plantation house is in the distance. 1667 engraving by Sebastien Le Clerc (1637-1714).
