Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

David Starr Jordan (1851-1931), US ichthyologist and educator. Jordan studied botany at Cornell University, New York, USA, and then studied ichthyology. He taught natural history at Indiana University Bloomington, and was appointed President of Indiana University in 1885. In 1891, he became the first President of Stanford University, California, helping to establish its marine research laboratory (Hopkins Marine Station). He served as President until 1913, then was Chancellor until 1916 when he retired. Jordan's works include the 4-volume 'Fishes of North and Middle America' (1896???1900). Photographed in 1917.
