*~ SATISFACTION GUARANTEED ~* I am originally from a small town in New York State's Catskill Mountains U.S.A. residing there until Dec. 2005. I have since moved and now live about an hour north of Nashville, Tennessee. I chose this area of Tennessee because of the similarity to the Catskills. The seasons here are much milder than the Catskills and surprisingly there are actually 4 of them. It seemed there was only 2 in the Catskills.... Cold and colder. I look forward to going out on weekends or any day I have the opportunity to shoot pictures of the local area, wildlife and many forms of Nature. Even sitting in my backyard is relaxing. The scene changes constantly between the birds, plants and wildlife. I was always...

Erica - Could you tell me how many deer in this picture are original to the set up? I honestly don't understand how this is something other than white lines applied to a still life set. I never have comprehended this style of faux fractals. Would you tell me something about it please? Do the lines added come from a fractal formula as other fractals do? When the white lines are added, is there another step beyond that to make a finish of some sort? ...........................Thanks.....................................Patrice
Ericamaxine Price replied:
Hi Patrice, There are 4 deer on the left, 2 on the bowl and 1 lying down and 1 standing next to the platter. In the front you can see the cup lying down and the head is hard to see because it's hidden by the ladle. Then on the right side there are 2 deer, 1 hanging from the bowl and 1 on the table next to the tray. That would be 7. eigth is missing. As for the fractals are from Redfield's fractalius program. Not like other fractal programs like xaos, or Mandlebrot, and many others. I'll show you the link to Redfield and maybe you'll see more information there. I do have some of the 'real' fractals in my site for example: http://fineartamerica.com/featured/flight-of-the-eagle-featured-in-comfortable-art-and-spect-artworks-notecard-possibilities-ericamaxine-price.html There are a few others in my gallery. This particular one I didn't go into PS5 to enhance. Many other pictures I do several combinations to. Hope that helped. Here is the link for Redfield: http://www.redfieldplugins.com/ Also if you type in the Google search Redfield Fractalius a page will come up and a link to click on hundreds on display.
