Between April 9th and April 11th, 2009, eight separate fires burned throughout Montague County, Texas, destroying over 60,000 acres. Seventy people lost their homes and three people lost their lives. This piece honors and thanks those firefighters from all over north Texas who risked their lives to defend the livelihood of not only ourselves but of all our neighbors as well. 10% of the proceeds from all print sales go to benefit the Montague County Volunteer Fire Department.
