This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
The Dome of the Rock is located at the visual center of Jerusalem known as the Temple Mount. It was built over the site of the Second Jewish Temple, which was destroyed during the Roman siege of Jerusalem in 70 CE. Muslims believe that the Dome of the Rock is the site of the Islamic miracle of the Isra and Miraj. This is said to be where Muhammed ascended into Heaven accompanied by the angel Gabriel. The Dome of the Rock is also the holiest site to Judaism, which is one of many major issues between the Jews and Muslims. Muslim authorities will not allow Jews to pray on the temple mount, so Jews go to the Western Wall in order to be as close as possible to the foundation stone of the Temple Mount when they pray. According to Jewish tradition, this stone is where Abraham prepared to sacrifice his some Isaac, before he was stopped by the hand of God. Most Muslims believe that it was Ishmael, not Isaac, who was to be sacrificed.
About David Morefield
By David Morefield I started photography for a couple of reason, the main reason was for the pure enjoyment of creating something beautiful. In my past, I have seen some of the greatest horrors known to man, so finding other images to place into my head has been therapeutic. I call it "Image Replacement Therapy." Over time, I had some people ask about buying prints, so I started posting prints for sale and this is how Fluffyshotme Photography was born. I prefer to go out and capture whatever strikes me in the moment and if others like it, then great. My photography is more for me to appreciate, but if others can get enjoyment out of my work, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment. I am interested in travelling the world....
