Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

Artist's Description
"Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jeane Mortenson, June 1, 1926 - August 5, 1962) was an American actress and model. Famous for playing "dumb blonde" characters, she became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s, emblematic of the era's attitudes towards sexuality. Although she was a top-billed actress for only a decade, her films grossed $200 million by the time of her unexpected death in 1962. She continues to be considered a major popular culture icon." This is a publicity still for the film The Seven Year Itch that is in the public domain that I have filtered and colored (original is black and white) in a Pop Art style.

I am a self-taught digital artist. I also am a graduate of the Applied Photography course at the New England School of Photography and am an alumnus of Massachusetts College of Art. My kaleidoscopes can also be seen on YouTube in videos set to original music here: www.youtube.com/user/leopardjoy I've been a music and art promoter on YouTube for over seven years. I think my love of the mandalas, kaleidoscopes, and symmetrical digital drawings comes from this thing I have about having things at right angles and 'even out' all the time. I'm a Virgo too, so it's a two-pronged blessing/curse. I'm kind of a geek as far as computers go, so I really enjoy being able to create on the computer and come up with what I feel are quite beautiful...

Ooooh naughty Marilyn! who was she flashing? i don't think that was just an accident over the street vent... hehee. Lovely work, Joy. great colors and contrast. :)) L/F ♥
Joy McKenzie replied:
She was so cute in the movie that this is from, The Seven Year Itch. She said "Isn't it just delicious!?" (not a breath of air, summer in NYC). In real life, her husband Joe DiMaggio was there while the filming was going on, and it really upset him...I think it was actually the beginning of the end of their marriage. Thanks, as always, for the kind comment, Stephen! 💟
