All of Georgia's barrier islands have a driftwood beach on them but Jekyll Island's is the only one that is accessible by car and only 20 minutes off of I 95.As a local, I can pick my photo ops when the conditions are ideal as they were this moonlit evening.The tide stage, clouds and moon were all perfect for an exceptional photo capture. Even so, the sea breeze and the salty air smell really do have to be experienced in person and will be in my memories forever.
