About Brian Wallace
I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau. Best Regards, Brian Wallace https://twitter.com/Starg82343

Congratulations on placing 3rd in the competition - OOF - OFF THE PICTURE - JANUARY 2023 F/L
Brian Wallace replied:
Thanks Petra, for the nice comment and L/F. I was the host, and as such I didn't count my own entry for placement. It however tied for 2nd since it had the same amount of votes as another. FAA alternates the placement in such a situation.

Kim Gauge
Hehehe...looks like you had a bit of fun on this one! Great work! v/f
Brian Wallace replied:
Yes I did Kim. I'm extremely shy by nature so while I was in my driveway posing like I could be hanging from something with a remote in my hand and a delay on the shutter, I was wondering who might be watching me from the neighborhood.
Brian Wallace
Thanks for the nice comment Charles. Best of luck here at FAA!
Sarah and Jeff Normandeau
I'll take a look!!
Brian Wallace
Thanks for the nice comment Sarah and Jeff. I have a group for this type of image called OOF - Out Of Frame http://fineartamerica.com/groups/oof--out-of-frame.html?tab=overview. I've included many tutorials on how to do this technique in the OOF group discussion. It's a lot of fun so go to the tutorials and experiment. If you come with something you like, join the group and enter your OOF images.
