This reminds me of a story a very olden lady told. Her Father owned a small town store, he made wine. One time the wine was made from beets. At some point in the process the Father drained the wine and fed the beets to the hogs. The storyteller laughed like a child as she remembered the drunken hogs running. Needless to say the Father had trouble on his hands because all the children wanted to play with the drunken hogs. The hogs were so drunk the Father was afraid the hogs would injure themselves. Sorry the post is so long. Your beautiful painting brought back the memory of her laughter. voted and favorite

About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Artist's Description

There once was a farmer who had a still up in the mountains just outside of town. One day he was bringing home a small barrel of whiskey. Just as he reached his house, he looked down the street and saw the local constable coming up the road. In a panic, he plopped his barrel of moonshine into the pig pen on the back side of his house. His hope was that the lawman would think it just a rain barrel. The farmer believed that it was a fantastic idea. The pigs agreed.

About Daniel Eskridge

Daniel Eskridge

I am a forty-something living in the Metro-Atlanta area -- one of the few people who was actually born and raised here. I'm married and have two sons. By day, I am a senior software engineer. But, by night I am a 3D render artist. I have dual degrees from the University of Georgia, one in Computer Science, the other in Fine Art. So, it seems only natural that I attempt to combine the two by producing art using a computer. Plus, I find that it's a bit more practical than painting as it doesn't require all of the clean up, harsh chemicals, or expensive supplies. In fact, I have been a render artist since some of the first ray-tracing programs were made publicly available in the mid 80's. To follow me on facebook CLICK HERE. Check...
