I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

A pear shares space with a clarinet and piccolo. I really like the greeny black of the clarinet and piccolo in contrast to the greeny yellow of the pear. The pear and clarinet bell shapes echo each other nicely too.

Jenny Armitage lives, paints, and draws in Salem Oregon. She's currently riding two horses: impressionist watercolor and surreal ink. Jenny's watercolors are about light and shadow patterns. She's most interested in forest and cityscapes, where the light bounces around creating interesting light patterns. These paintings begin with a pattern of light seen in the real world. Her ink drawings are illustrative of ideas. She has a thought and seeks to translate it to paper. Unlike her watercolors, the image begins with thought, not sight.
