My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

In fact, my first experience seeing one was waking after being awakened suddenly by the first of many morning calls to prayer on my first morning in Cairo. A shock even if you know its coming when you're not used to it!
The yellow mosque seen in this photo was photographed in a little Nubian village on Elephantine Island near Aswan. Our group had the privilege of meeting and dining with a family there and while the food was being prepared, I looked up and saw the beautiful dusk blue sky forming over the courtyard we where we were seated. I hadn't yet spotted the minaret, but I knew the sky would be amazing and climbed up a staircase in the courtyard to see what was there. When I was greeted with this view, my jaw dropped. I loved how the gritty buildings in the foreground echoed the blue of the sky. And it speaks volumes about the import...
About Mark Tisdale
Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist. That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. My body of work is wide ranging from photographic scenes of far away places, more near and dear locations, and more fanciful artwork. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
