Revisiting this fantastic photograph. Always a favourite of mine!

Photographs can hold such treasured memories and I know that this one must be very special for you! This is a great image that gives us a little peek into your past. Good times remembered. L/F and voted for it in the Elvis contest.

This was a fun time of life, but had to retire, as all good things must end sometime, and I was ready for it. Loved all the memories and photos to enhance those memories. Glad you liked this one, as it is one of my faves.

This is great, Randy. All three of you look wonderful! I enjoyed reading about your previous home and garden. It looks so beautiful. It must have been a sight to behold!

Had some good times during this era, but glad the memories are still there, even though we all have retired, but loved the memories. Thanks much Doug!

Thanks much, Joy, as we had a blast from the past while it lasted, for almost 35 years, and that is while I was a teacher/administrator, coach, referee, etc. so kept us very busy, and we played for the NATIONAL WELLNESS CONFERENCE and the NATIONAL POSTAL CONVENTION! Plus many other gigs, including golf course openings, weddings, bars, birthdays, and at Wis. Dells, one of our last. Thank you very much for visiting my galleries and commenting on this shot, as I truly appreciate your time and support for my work, the work of our fine group of artists in the WFS group, and to all artists of FAA. Oh how much fun you must have had! You all look great!! I know you have so many treasured memories!! v/f

Thanks Angela, as it was a blast from the past, but then the "suit" shrunk, and had to give it up! LOL

Lovely shot Randy! v.

Yes, it was a highlight of my life and my buddies and I enjoyed the fun and encompassing gratitude from our audiences. But, life goes on, and my suit seemed to have shrunk, so I went into photography to replace the entertainment sector of my life. I enjoy the art and the people, like you, who I have had the honor and privilege to meet on this new journey!

Oh, Those great moments, and memories for ever. Awesome!

Artist's Description

Just had to share another of our outings with you, as this is just before a gig, that was at the National Postal Convention, at Paper Valley Hotel, in Appleton Wisconsin, back in the day! This was taken at our house, before the one we are now occupying, and it had 5 acres of totally landscaped yard! We are in front of a three tiered fountain, which I lit up at night and three tiers of walkways to enjoy! That is probably what kept my Elvis suit fitting! As, since I have slacked off of landscaping, my suit shrunk! LOL Stands to reason for me! This was just one of our many gardens at our previous home, and it was landscaped all the way to the road which passed in front or our house. Had to do something entertaining, besides work in the yard! This was my escape! And, I am sticking to it!

About Randy Rosenberger

Randy Rosenberger

As a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years, I spend a lot of time in our many flower gardens, with water features, metal sculptures, and many flowering trees, bushes and shrubs. My wife gave me a digital camera for a Christmas present a few years ago, and I started taking photos of the many types of flora and fauna on our property. This became an enjoyable hobby for me, to enjoy the outdoors, and capture some of the beautiful photo opportunities that our gardens have provided. I especially love close-ups of flowers and insects, and basically anything that has something unique to capture on film. I have entered several contests in our area, and even won some recognition with my photos. I have posted on Face Book and am now...
