This is an explosives shed I found near a gold mining site in Colorado. The building is from the early 1900's, it was used to store explosives. The building is made out of heavy stone, concrete, and bricks. The ceiling is vaulted and 3 bricks thick. Sediment has filled in some of the missing bricks and plants have grown out of it. This is the most in-tact of 3 similar buildings we hiked to this day.

I am primarily a traditional artist however i do enjoy some photography and graphic art. I am a student at colorado state university currently earning a bachelor of fine arts degree with an emphasis area of painting. I will be graduating may 2015. I like to use many styles, techniques, and materials. Over the years i have slowly been shifting my main focus from realism to the more imaginative/free styles, expressionism and surrealism etc. I enjoy bringing aspects of several of these styles into one work; like more realistic portraits with abstract backgrounds for example.
