Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The second mirror painting in a set of three similar ones with the same frame color, thickness, background and brownish fumed mirror base. Glass paint used to fill in spaces within a silver black outline. The right side has exotic alphabetic characters.
Painting is my solace. I am a self-taught artist, participated in local art shows in the US and the Gulf Area. Arizona is my haven where I live and do research in the Liberal and Arts College at ASU. Inspired by Jerusalem's old city alleys and old market, I am a collector of traditional Palestinian embroidery, needlework and jewelry. I started my collection of arts and crafts in 1990, and constantly experimenting with new mediums, adding to oil, silk and glass painting, I made artificial flowers from a special homemade dough displayed in unique arrangements.
