Love this duvet cover in the Tree Fort Suite of the Elk View Lodge, Fernie, BC, Canada.
A lowland stream meanders through the forest and out into a rocky meadow. The meltwater from a distant mountain is feeding this stream with fresh clear water. In the foreground are large boulders on both side of the river causing a choke pointe and some white water. A birch tree on the left side of the scene shades the foreground. The water further upstream is calm and reflecting the pine trees on both sides of the scene. Birch trees and large rocks are casting shadows down the sunlit hill on the left and the bright yellow grass is showing it's fall color. Further up stream you can see some deer approaching the water. Thick pine trees frame both sides of the river in the distance. Beyond the pine trees are the snow covered purple mountain tops. The scene is finished with a blue sky with puffy clouds. It's a beautiful day in the Rocky Mountains. The painting is protected by copyright.
