Artist's Description
Lloyds Bank Tower at number One Lime Street. In this image we have a black and white photograph of the famous Lloyds Building by Richard Rogers. We see the building through some of the trees that surround it showing how it has managed to squeeze into the compacted space of the city of London.
The added depth and texture which can only be achieved in black and white photography has been used to great effect to show off this amazing architectural landmark. Once we remove the bright colours used to illuminate this building we are allowed to enjoy the simplicity and form of the architects design and appreciate why this such an important building in the London landscape.
