Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

LOVE this, Lois!!! It actually gave me chills. It is filled with charm and the atmosphere is amazing!! Nice work!
Lois Bryan replied:
Kathy!!! Thank you!!! What a lovely comment!!! (Pssst: the chills might be from the cold weather, tho, lol!!! Throw on another sweater and have a nice hot cuppa tea!!!)
Thomas Young
Love the lines and lighting in this image Lois.
Lois Bryan replied:
Hi Thomas!!! Thank you ... I loved the lines too ... I wish I'd taken the time to back up just a tiny bit ... the angles of the dormer windows over the roof were great too!!
Sandra Bronstein
I love the way you textured this image and your use of HDR. Very well done Lois!
Lois Bryan replied:
Sandra, thank you!!!!! This is one of those shots, that my eye caught as I was crossing the street, and I fired one shot at. Usually when I see something, I'm all about the light and the angle and I can make a 3 year old fall asleep while I take 20 shots. This was a single!!! LOL!!!
Julie Lueders
Fantastic,, such a warm feel to this, love the look of old and historic, it has a wonderful coloniel feel to it!! Love it!!!!!
Lois Bryan replied:
thanks so much, Julie ... the town of Harpers Ferry has an awful lot of history to it ... from John Brown during the civil war ... to some pretty devastating floods. A lot of the town has preserved historical elements (including a WAY COOL night time ghost tour, lol!!) ... but the town itself is lived in and loved by its residents to this day!!!! Worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
Will Borden
Beautifully photographed, Lois!
Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you, Will!!!
Tara Turner

Excellent. Nice hdr and textures Lois.
Lois Bryan replied:
Thanks so much, Jeff ... this one was a good shot right out of the camera ... I felt a little guilty messing with it, lol!!! I usually only tweak the questionable ones!!!!
