This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

About Mary Ann Weger
My daily life has always been closely aligned with nature and the four seasons. That is often the theme in my photography. Residing in southern New England for almost all my life, I have been blessed with the famous changing colors of autumn leaves, and the yellow glow of candles positioned behind small window panes in winter. The Atlantic coastal areas of New England have also provided me access to some of the most beautiful and famous oceanfront properties and beaches in the world! My childhood and teenage years were spent in upstate New York where winters many times lasted for six months. Being a city girl surrounded by snow wasn't much different from living in the country. I spent so much of my life walking through the deep snow,...

I love shots like this : the first snow of the season. If you love Winter as much as I do, my lady, you would be quite at home in our neck of the woods. In high elevations above 12000 feet, we usually get our first snow of the season around the end of August. Then, we see snow in our mountain towns around mid October. It continues to snow off 'n on until mid May to early June of the following year.

This lovely work of yours reminds me of something we had yesterday here in Colorado : lots of snow on trees including crab apple blossoms. It was magical beyond belief. In most years, we continuer to get snow off 'n on until around mid May.
Mary Ann Weger replied:
I can imagine how magical it must have looked! It's so nice to have a day off sometimes to enjoy the beauty of the snow! Thanks for your comments, Bijan!
