I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

This is an ancient and traditional way of fishing in Kerala, a southern state of India. I saw the sunset and the fishing nets; it fascinated me so much that I painted this scene.
About Vidyut Singhal
I make paintings in acrylic My earlier paintings were in watercolor, Wash, and Tempera techniques on paper and silk. These are in traditional Indian art style, where warm earth tones are commonly used. Generally, Indian paintings are very ornate and detail-oriented with less emphasis on perspective, proportions, or depth. Simple village life, traditional celebrations or mythological stories are mostly used for the subject matter; for example, stories of Lord Krishna's life. Some of these paintings are included in the gallery. Presently, I paint with acrylic because of its versatility and ability to emulate the styles of watercolor and oil. Even though I have focused my energy on painting landscapes; I incorporate details, fine brush...
