About Patricia High

Patricia High

Biography Patricia High is a resident of Yellow Springs Ohio and has been an active artist since 1986. She is a member of the Dayton Visual Arts Center in Dayton Ohio; Ohio Arts Council for Percent Program, Columbus, Ohio; and Art Communication International, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her BA from Antioch College in 1991 and her MA in Studio Art from Antioch University Midwest, in July 1996. Most work is abstract and semi-representational. The subject matter is often ethereal, otherworldly and derived from fantasy. The media used includes oil, pastel, ink and watercolor. Recently collage techniques predominate. She has studied under the direction of Gary Bower of Antioch College, David Leach, and Jean...
