This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
Outside the metropolis of Dubai traditional fishing customs are still visible. Here fishing vessels are being repaired just south of Jumeira Beach. Throughout the entire Gulf region, the eastern Mediterranean and as far east as the west coast of India, I have been fascinated by the design of merchant and fishing vessels which locals have built over generations. When the Portuguese arrived here after sailing around the southern tip of Africa, their subjugation of locals was very short lived. Astounded by the agility with which these vessels out-maneuvered their cumbersome ships, they were forced to relinquish their hold over these distant colonies and finally driven south to Zanzibar and Mozambique from where they gradually disappeared. Across the Arabian sea in India, similar such vessels are still in use today, fishing in warm sub tropical waters that are abound with pelagic species such as blue fin tuna and sailfish. In this painting the dazzling white sand of the region forms a live...

I enjoy sharing these snapshots with my artistic peers. I love Art an am always eager to discuss its merits, especially the cyber-gallery at FAA and its vocal residents. The Gulf deserts have more than 200 different colored sands...so there's always a canvas lurking somewhere. The world is becoming too large for me to finish all the projects I have in mind so I just float from one canvas to another, sort of like a leaf in a fast flowing river.

your gallery is magnificent... you are quite a amazing person/painter. thank you for sharing your art and your experience.
