Artist's Description
This inked oozing is a bit less inked and allows some of the pure oozing (see my blog for an explanation) to show through. The title is a based on a misinterpretation of the phrase, "Time Flies" (they don't mean with a stopwatch). I taught a class on how to draw flies, but they zip around too fast so you've got to unzip your fly before you can draw flies. Hitting them with a newspaper works but the moms are way too fast so it's easier to hit pop flys...Ahem, sorry.
About Rr Cabarga
Born in New York, R.R. Cabarga learned fine and commercial art from his father, an established art director and fine artist. He diversified his education in the arts by joining a theater group at age ten, and then becoming a jazz and salsa trumpet player, composer, playing professionally in the San Francisco area while studying graphic design and fine art at the San Francisco Art Institute. At twenty five he was art director for Winning Directions, Inc. in San Francisco and later took a position in Los Angeles as art director for National Promotions and Advertising, Inc.
