This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. About Michael DeMusz
Hmmmmm, well I first became serious about being an artist when I was 18. I had my first artshow when I was 19. I then worked in a lighting gallery for a few years to make enough money to acqiure some formal education. I attended Pennsylvania School of Art and Design for one year. I then returned to my hometown of Cape May to work as an apprentice for my uncle, Brian DeMusz. He taught me the art of handpainting and carving signs. He also introduced me to goldleafing. I was offered a position as staff illustrator for a local weekly publication, Exit Zero Magazine. I created covers and illustrated Exit Zero and Blue Roads Magazines, publications of Exit Zero. I also illustrated maps for Cool Cape May, a yearly, hardcover...
