This one was personal for me. These are my Grandfather's hands on his bible that he read every afternoon. If you look closely you can read the beginning of his favorite verse through the right lenses of the glasses. Hence the title "For God so Loved the World".

Hello! My name is Tanja Ware and I have been an artist, in one way or another, for most of my life. I was thirteen when my first illustration was printed and commissioned portraits provided extra money all through school. Next came a 23 year career as a commercial illustratior/graphic designer. After an early retirement, I decided to try my hand at fine arts. Currently I am working in oil, watercolor & pastels with pastels being my preferred medium. I work in the realism style, although not photo realism. I am not an abstract painter, however, I do enjoy the abstractions that come with painting subjects realistically but in a close focus format or from unusual angles.
