While out for a walk on the Hiking trails of the beautiful Bushkill falls in the Pocono mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania.

The forest floor. Verdant, lush. with a microscopic eco system busy with a life force all of its own.
A walk in the woods will overwhelm the senses with all the texture, patterns and vibrant color.
A tree falls in the forest....
rotting, decay, decline.
But it creates a new home for woodland creatures,
wildlife and insects alike.
A tree stump becomes a habitat
Covered in moss, mushrooms and other assorted Fungi.
It will decompose, breakdown become one with the Earth
and fertilize the woodland dirt with nutrients.
And so the cycle goes...
and a new life will begin.
