SHIRT IS GREAT, BUT LOTS OF CONFUSION WITH FINE ART AMERICA CUSTOMER SERVICE... TOOK OVER A MONTH OF EMAILS TO FIND OUT THE T SHIRT COLOR WAS NOT AVAILABLE, HAD TO REORDER. NO EXPEDITED SHIPPING OR OTHER DISCOUNT OFFERED FOR THEIR SCREW UP. GOT THE SHIRT A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE OUR EVENT, THANKFULLY. BUT DIDNT HAVE IT TO GIVE TO AT CHRISTMAS AS PLANNED.IMAGE ITSELF IS A CLASSIC. SHIRT IS NOT TOP QUALITY, CERTAINLY NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING.

This was my very first magazine publication as a photographer in the May1995 issue of Photographic Magazine! This is the Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii mailbox of the late Jaiom Berger. A good friend, neighbor, founder of the Aluminum Man mini triathlon series on Maui, age group winner in the Kona Ironman and Hollywood stuntman ( Baywatch T.V. series among others) tragically passed three years after this was taken, on November 28 1998, at age 44, after being hit on his moped by a negligent driver. An amazing human being with a selfless character that was always giving. God speed Jaiom!

Often a photojournalistic style, the photography has been used world wide in numerous publications including National Geographic Books as well as recipient of 43 awards at the annual Maui County Fair from 1993-2003, claiming state open titles in color photography in 1993, color slides in 2002 and B&W in 1997, 1998 and 1999 plus four other blue ribbons in the Maui Open competition. All the photography has been shot on the island of Maui. Much of it is unique to a special slice of time in Maui's recent history. Primarily from 1993 to 2003 with some more recent images as well.
