Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. This picture is of Fournier's Marine along the Cape Cod Canal and the entrance to the Sandwich Marina. This was painted on location from the parking lot along the marina. This building was torn down shortly after.
About Michael McGrath
I am primarily a seascape and landscape painter. Having grown up in New England, I often painted along the coast and marinas of Cape Cod and Newport. I spent many summers on Taylor's Point in Buzzards Bay and Sandwich, Massachusetts. My favorite days were drawing and painting fishing boats in the marinas and the canal. My early drawing instruction came from my father, but I am mostly self-taught. While attending Springfield College pursuing my teaching degree, I studied with Bill Blizzard. I also had the privilege of studying with Bill Griffiths at the Worcester Art Museum. I have been represented in galleries on Cape Cod, Jay, N.Y., Worcester and Sterling, Massachusetts. I was featured in a show at the former Chester Heywood estate...
