On a recent trip to France, I stayed in the tiny village of Flavigny Sur Ozerain. I wandered the streets, and happened upon this very unusual house.. With it's old weathered door and strange statue in the window, it looked like a ghost was living there. Flavigny is the village used in the filming of the movie "Chocolat".
About Marilyn Dunlap
Marilyn Bast Dunlap With a passion for art and history, Marilyn started painting at a very early age. Growing up in a small town, she often dreamed of far away places. This longing to escape is reflected in her art. As a graduate of University of Florida with a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Art, she would teach in the Winter and travel to Europe in the Summer. Over the years she has painted in oils, water colors and acrylics. She now paints exclusively in acrylics on masonite, as this medium allows her to pay meticulous attention to detail.
