Original Art work, During the Friday Night Concerts in Uptown Columbus, GA, a Jazz singer and band. I paint a picture Alla Prima, Plein Air. This is my first time with such a large Canvas, 18X24in.

J.E.M. My Grandmother helped me paint my first oil in 1972 at the age of 16. However, a career in the military intervened and it was not until 1986, when I met my wife Claudia, that I started painting again. In the interim, I kept busy taking things apart and putting them back together, including in the late 1970's the design and construction of a battery-operated automobile. Also, while in the Army I was a unit photographer, providing photo stories for The Wheel, a local military newspaper. My interest in the arts has since expanded beyond oils and photopgraphy, to include pen and ink and watercolour. My oil entitlted 60,000 Time to Change...
