I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.
Artist's Description
One of the Orangutans of the Como Zoo in St. Paul, Minnesota, original image captured with my Canon SX60 HS, painted in PSP 2018
The Malay word orangutan means “person of the forest.” These long-haired, orangish primates, found only in Sumatra and Borneo, are highly intelligent and are close relatives of humans.
Size
Orangutans have an enormous arm span. A male may stretch his arms some 7 feet from fingertip to fingertip—a reach considerably longer than his standing height of about 5 feet. When orangutans do stand, their hands nearly touch the ground.
Life in the Trees
Orangutans’ arms are well suited to their lifestyle because they spend much of their time (some 90 percent) in the trees of their tropical rain forest home. They even sleep aloft in nests of leafy branches. They use large leaves as umbrellas and shelters to protect themselves from the common rains.
Diet

Thank you very much Maryse, I'm really glad you liked it!
Amy E Fraser
Absolutely Adorable! Great Orangutan portrait, his expression is so intelligent and kind. I love the use of texture on the fur and the way you composed the image with the use of triangular negative space in the corners and the movement leading the eye back to his eyes. Fabulous!
Putterhug Studio replied:
Thank you so much Amy, so glad you liked how this one turned out. I've always had a soft spot for the Orangutans, actually for all primates, but these are a favorite and I wanted to do a portrait to do them justice.
