About Acrylic Prints
Mounting Option #1
Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

I ordered 5 large pieces of local Bentonville, Arkansas acrylic art for a client from Gregory. His response time is good and the product is well made. But the art itself... stunning. I will definitely buy more from him again!!
Artist's Description
Front Desk by Jeff Burton is a print that carries us back in time to the turn of the century when technology had not infused our lives. "While touring the quaint town of Bishop Hill with my wife Vanessa I spied this quill pen on the front desk of the Bishop Hill Hotel and became instantly intrigued with the light reflecting through the glass ink container." It is easy to imagine the weary traveler penning their name into the guest registry as the clerk readied their accommodations. This print would be a perfect gift for a writer or journalist and would compliment any office or den decor.
Jeff Burton is a Peoria, IL based Fine Art Photographer, who seeks to capture moments that instill a sense of calm and wonderment with the world around us. His monochrome photography style emphasizes the often-overlooked rich texture and tones of his subjects.
About Jeff Burton
Jeff developed a passion for photography after purchasing a Yashica FX-103 SLR in the early 1980’s. Armed with his SLR and Tri-X Pan B/W film, Jeff fostered an appreciation and obsession with monochrome images. Today, Jeff uses a digital camera to capture images electronically rather than on black and white film and is enthralled with the unlimited possibilities afforded by today’s digital darkroom, which provides the perfect marriage of his professional career and his passion. Jeff shares his love of photography with others teaching Lightroom classes and photography seminars. With over thirty years of experience as a software engineer and system architect, Jeff distills digital image technology into easy to understand topics. When...

I still have pens with several nibs for calligraphy.. wouldn't use anything else! But I'm not so old that I can claim having to use a feather quill... :) v

wonderful black and white still life

This is beautiful in b/w....believe it or not, when I was a small child growing up in England, I can recall vividly using a nib and real ink....no feather...:) But the part of the pen you held was wood, and the nib on the end. I used to come home with ink all over my hands, and sometimes some prankster behind me (boy) would stick the end of my pigtails (plaits we called them) in the inkwell as a joke....my mother was always mad at the state I came home in! :) Thanks for taking me back in time!
Jeff Burton replied:
Avis, I still use a fountain pen for my everyday writing, albeit not the type where you have to fill the ink bladder inside the pen from a bottle. There are a few things that technology can't improve upon and a finely crafted fountain pen is one of them. I appreciate hearing that this image rekindled such fond memories.
