Awesome nostalgia here, Randy. Reminds me of my boyhood in Omaha, Nebraska. The big tree is similar to a tree I just did in a painting called HER Space HER Dreams.....................FAV / LIKE

Artist's Description

This was a photo op we caught on a leisurely day of mopeding around the county. Just caught my eye, with the old signage, gas pumps, and the oldie but goodie pick up truck parked out front. I love nostalgia and this one was a premium photo op to capture for others who enjoy reminiscing about the good old days, when gas was sometimes below 20 cents a gallon, and you got full service, from windshield wash to air in the tires to oil level check, etc. Wow, never see those days again!

About Randy Rosenberger

Randy Rosenberger

As a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years, I spend a lot of time in our many flower gardens, with water features, metal sculptures, and many flowering trees, bushes and shrubs. My wife gave me a digital camera for a Christmas present a few years ago, and I started taking photos of the many types of flora and fauna on our property. This became an enjoyable hobby for me, to enjoy the outdoors, and capture some of the beautiful photo opportunities that our gardens have provided. I especially love close-ups of flowers and insects, and basically anything that has something unique to capture on film. I have entered several contests in our area, and even won some recognition with my photos. I have posted on Face Book and am now...
